Brian Handeland is a musician and music educator based in Minneapolis, MN. Equally at home on all of the different saxophones, clarinets, and flutes, he regularly performs with a wide variety of ensembles including the JazzMN Orchestra, Riverside Entertainment, Jack Brass Band, the Drums of Navarone, and his jazz quartet BH4. Brian also stays busy as an educator, teaching band at Ave Maria Academy in Maple Grove, coaching saxophones and jazz combos at East Ridge HS in Woodbury, and teaching woodwind lessons at Blue Tree Music Education in S Mpls.
Tonight’s quartet performance will feature a wide variety of music from jazz composers such as Joshua Redman, Wayne Shorter, Fred Hersch, and many more!
